"A standard 3 Tonne 4x4 GS (Bedford) chassis adapted for use as a recovery vehicle. The equipment is designed for the recovery of all wheeled vehicles up to and including 3 tonne GS class. The jib has a maximum safe working load of 3 tonne at 2438mm radius, the hoist winch drive being taken from a PTO on the main gearbox and has a maximum first layer pull of 7 tonne. Provision is made for both front and rear winching.

With the assistance of a special sprag type earth anchor and two part tackle the winch can exert a maximum rear pull of 13 tonne or a side pull of 6 tonne.

The suspended tow hook capacity is 3 tonne."
