This page details the Characteristics of the FV Truck, Recovery, 6x4 Crusader EKA. Based on the Crusader 35t tractor unit, the Crusader/Eka was designed to provide the Recovery Companies with a vehicle to sweep up casualties along the MSRs leading to the front. 130 were bought. The vehicle is fitted with a 7.7tonne front winch and a 22 tonne rear winch. The cab is large enough to accommodate four personnel (dvr + 3).
